Lumi'ea's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to release her flea market container from the wharf and also help start her greenhouse business.

Lumi'ea's story

This is Lumi'ea. She is 53 years old, and she is a divorced mother to her six children. Lumi'ea and her children live in a rented house, where they pay for the rent at the end of every month.

Together with the help of her children she can manage to run her sewing and flea market businesses and plans to start a greenhouse business. She is supported by her children, knowing it is their main source of income. Her eldest daughter resides overseas, and she is the one sending her flea goods every month. Lumi'ea runs her sewing business at home and sells out her final pieces together with her flea market items from her tent.

With this loan, she will start her new business which is a greenhouse business and also release her new flea market container from the wharf. It is her desire and dream to have their own home, where they will no longer pay for rent every month.
