Tuzamurane Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more tomatoes and onions.

Tuzamurane Cb Group's story

Marie Josee is 40 years old, widowed, and the mother of five children aged between 4 and 15 years. For the past 11 years, she has been selling vegetables.

Marie Josee is the leader of the group called Tuzamurane CB, which in English means “Developing themselves.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of stores.

Marie Josee will use her loan to buy more tomatoes and onions to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she will pay school fees for the children and put away some savings.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
