Patricia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more biscuits, candy, oil and rice to sell.

Patricia's story

Meet 35-year-old Patricia, from Liberia. She is a single mother with 2 kids, both are schooling and live at home.

Patricia is a high school graduate. She sells biscuits, candy, oil and rice in order to earn a living. She learned how to sell from her mother. She sells Monday through Saturday for 12 hours. She uses a car or bike to transport supplies to her business site and has no problem with her business. She likes her business because it gives her fast profits.

To continue selling, Patricia requested a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva Field Partner, to buy more biscuits, candy, oil and rice to sell in order to meet her customers demand.

Her dreams for the future are to increase her business and build houses. She is highly grateful for the financial support BRAC and Kiva have rendered.
