A loan helped to purchase a new motorcycle for the purpose of selling bread.

Thoeurn's story

Thoeurn, 46, is a married woman who lives with her independent husband in the Dun Keo region of Cambodia's Takeo Province.

Thoeurn is currently a stay-at-home mom. She is a rice farmer who works hard to ensure that her family and children receive the best education possible.

Thoeurn is requesting a 1,700 USD Kiva loan to help her buy a new motorcycle so she can have an extra job traveling around her region selling bread.

Thoeurn will be able to use the motorcycle to help people get out of poverty and get to better destinations with the funds obtained from the PB cooperation.

Thoeurn hopes that all lenders will be generous enough to lend her the money she needs.
