Yorelys Estefany's story

Yorelys Estefany, age 26, is a young small businesswoman who lives in the city of Barranquilla. That is where she has a business of selling spices, condiments, dried fruits, and canned food.

Yorelys started this business approximately one year ago. She started this work after having learned about everything having to do with this line of work from her mother. In the business she has seen much profitability, and it has helped her to improve her quality of life and that of her family.

Due to the pandemic her income diminished considerably due to health issues. She provides daily services to her main customers who are passersby, neighbors, and people in outlying areas. She takes cash payments.

She is now requesting her first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo in order to increase her working capital in the business and to buy a greater quantity of supplies like condiments, dried fruits, and a larger display case to display her products. She will do this in order to generate a greater number of sales and to generate greater profits. Please help her with her business loan.
