A loan helped to pay for household latrine construction.

Thai's story

Aged 29, Thai is a brave husband and highly respected in his local area. He lives with his spouse and he has the occupation of construction worker, and his two children are in primary school. In the future, he wants to help his children get to the big schools, so that his children can have a good place in life.

He has been involved for almost five years in his career. Thai and his spouse help each other earn household income so that they can provide food, medicines, education, and basic living needs. His spouse also sells foods at the market to help earn more additional income.

Because of a shortage in his finances, he has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to pay for household latrine construction. This fund can encourage him to pay and purchase construction supplies as well as pay for labor costs. This latrine is very useful for his members such as to prevent the spread of various diseases, dignify living, be clean and comfortable, and have a suitable place for bathing. They will participate in social sanitation, with no mud around the house.

He aims to purchase more land for agricultural purposes and open a small grocery store to earn additional income. He sends his thanks to all lenders for helping his family.
