A loan helped to pay for household latrine construction.

Sruy's story

Aged 40, Sruy is a brave husband and highly respected in his local area. He lives with his spouse and his two children, who are primary school age. He has an occupation as a construction worker, which he has been involved in for almost 5 years. In the future, he wants to help his children get to the big schools so that his children can have a good place in life.

Sruy and his spouse help each other earn household income so that they can provide food, medicine, education, and basic living needs. Because of a shortage in his finances, he has applied for a loan in the amount of USD 1,500 to pay for household latrine construction. This fund can encourage him to purchase construction supplies as well as pay for labor costs. This latrine is very useful for his members to prevent the spread of various diseases, and provide a dignified place to live that is clean and comfortable with a suitable place for bathing. They will participate in social sanitation and have no mud around the house.

He aims to purchase more land for agricultural purposes and open a small grocery store to earn additional income. He sends his thanks to all lenders for helping his family.
