A loan helped to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home.

Sokchea's story

Sokchea, 21, is a married woman with two children living in Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province.

She is a conscientious garment worker with her spouse and this couple can earn in the vicinity of USD 11 each day. She has been doing this for almost 3 years. This career provides all of her family’s income.

She aspires to achieve financial stability and provide her children with comfortable living conditions. Due to a shortage of money, Sokchea is asking for a loan to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home.

She hopes that, through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. Sokchea will have enough funds to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks, cement, zinc, and other necessary items, and to pay for labor costs.

Sokchea sends thanks to all lenders for helping her, and poor people like her, to improve her family's economic situation. She believes that, through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
