Pait's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to repair his old house.

Pait's story

Pait, 39, is a married man with two children living in Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province. He is a conscientious fisherman who fishes at the river and collects them to sell at the market. He works with his spouse, earning in the vicinity of $6 USD each day. He has been doing this for almost three years. His spouse helps him greatly in earning more additional income as a garment worker at the factory.

Currently his house is lacking, and he has requested a loan in the amount of USD 2,000 to repair his old house. With this funding support, he can purchase construction supplies such as bricks, cement, zinc, and pay for labor costs. The advantage of a new roof is to help protect when it rains, storm protection, and clean ceilings provide comfort for living and are waterproof.

Thanks to the Kiva lenders for their role in the comprehensive development and reducing poverty for their families.
