A loan helped to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home.

Sret's story

Sret, 27, is a married woman with two children living in Angkor Borei District, Takeo Province. She is a conscientious rice farmer who owns and manages around two hectares of farmland. She works with her spouse, earning in the vicinity of $6 USD each day. She has been doing this for almost three years.

Rice farming provides all of her family’s income. She aspires to achieve financial stability and provide her children with comfortable living conditions. With her many years of experience, Sret is an expert in taking care of her rice crops and ensuring abundant harvests each year, except for the year of a big flood.

Due to a shortage of money, Sret is asking for a loan to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home. She hopes that through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. She will have enough funds to purchase construction supplies such as bricks, cement, zinc, and other necessary items, and to pay for labor costs.

Sret sends thanks to all lenders for helping her, and poor people like her, to improve their family's economic situation. She believes that through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
