Versalles Group's story

Antonia is 59 years old, lives with her life partner, and her 16-year-old son depends on them both economically.

Antonia has had her business of snacks and typical foods for 10 years, which she sells on foot in the afternoons, and she also does sewing by order in her place of living. They are jobs that she learned together with a friend and of which she is currently the owner.

But she wants to improve her business, so she is asking for a loan to buy corn, yuca, plantains, and potatoes. With this investment, she hopes to have more working material and this way be able to prepare more snacks and increase her income. She wishes for her business to grow and to be more prosperous.

Antonia, together with Yanci, Rosa, and Joaquín, make up the "Versalles" solidarity group, being responsible and business-minded people who search for the same end of getting their families ahead.
