Rosa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a solar freezer system that will allow her to have better conditions in her grocery store business.

Rosa's story

Rosa lives in a community of Atlantida in Honduras. She is 43 years old, and from a very young age, she has raised cattle, grown rambutan and basic grains, and raised pigs, together with her husband. She is a very entrepreneurial woman, and for this reason, she now has a little business, [set up] with her own effort, where she sells food and other general consumer products.

With the goal of expanding her business, she has incorporated the sale of dairy products, meats, soft drinks, ice, and other products that need refrigeration. But she now has a limitation, since in the zone where she lives there is no access to electrical energy. Because of this, she has to stock up and have these products refrigerated in coolers. This generates a high cost for her, since she has to buy ice daily, and this is reflected in her earnings.

It is for this reason that Rosa is applying to Soluz Honduras for this loan in order to obtain a solar freezer system. It will help her to be able to serve her customers better and, above all, she will no longer have to spend money on the purchase of ice, and she won't have to travel great distances to obtain it. In this way, her business will increase its earnings and her customers will be satisfied.
