Nasira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy dairy cows in order to increase her livestock headcount and milk sales volumes.
Nasira successfully repaid her loan and is grateful to the Kiva Fund and everyone who helped her with the financing. Thanks to Nasira's hard work and her husband's help with the business, today her farm contains 18 cows, four horses and 0.2 hectares of land, where she grows beans. Nasira has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local factory for its further processing into dairy products. This allows Nasira to consistently invest in her agricultural business. After learning that she could obtain a loan under the "Value-added chain" program from the Bai Tushum Bank using her factory contract for future delivery as a collateral, she requested a loan in the amount of 250,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows in order to increase her livestock headcount and milk sales volumes. Payments for the milk from the factory will be directly deposited to Nasira's bank account while loan repayments will be automatically debited. Profits from the loan will allow Nasira to further grow her livestock headcount, improve her family's financial welfare and repair their house.
