Nadia's story

My husband and I have come from a position in life with all odds seemingly against us, however, we see a bright future with endless possibilities. Our first choice every day is to wake up and make more progress than the day before. My goal is to provide for my family and my community. I want to be a light at the end of the tunnel for those facing addiction, felony convictions, lack of education, and those that have never known anything but poverty. I succeeded in completing my Business Administration (BS) and the current goal is to succeed in becoming a successful entrepreneur. My husband is a licensed residential carpenter. With financial assistance and guidance, I believe my goal can easily become reality. I intend to bring others on board that deserves a second chance at success. I have a passion for teaching and I want to provide residential carpentry apprenticeships to those who have a hard time finding employment due to criminal records. I want to be able to provide rehab/renovation services to low-income families. We will offer financing services and payment plans. I also plan to work with community funding programs such as the VA, Medicaid/Medicare, and special municipality grants.
