Temukisa's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw.

Temukisa's story

Temukisa is a 65-year-old married woman with two children. She runs a business selling taro and banana in her community to earn a living. She has four years of experience with this business. Temukisa works very hard to please her customers with her fresh taro and bananas.

She thinks she will earn more income if she plants more bananas and taro, but in order to do this, Temukisa needs a loan to buy taro roots (seedlings), banana tubes (seedlings), chemicals, a backpack sprayer, and a chainsaw, to help her run the business.

She even delivers her products to the flea market by using the bus (transportation). She comes from a family in which no one else works to earn a living; only her business will help with her family's needs. Her dream is that one day her family will have a great living standard.

She became a member of SPBD in 2016 to seek finances for her business. Temukisa realized that your support will be a big help for her and her family to develop through financing.
