Rafihatu's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase goods in larger quantities to meet customer demand.

Rafihatu's story

Rafihatu is a 21-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her mother in the Savelugu Municipal in Ghana. She runs a business selling groceries and packaged foods.

She is requesting a Kiva loan to purchase grocery items in larger quantities in order to meet customer demand. She plans to use the profit she earns to expand her business. She will repay the 'social interest' on her loan by volunteering 2.5 hours per week as a CAMFED Learner Guide, where she will encourage local students to remain in school and support them when needed.
