Lidia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional supply goods such as biscuits, noodles, sugar, coffee and many other things to resell at her store.

Lidia's story

Lidia is a modest and an enterprising 31 years old and married. She has a very good understanding and experience with general stores. She has one of her own which she has been running for many years, and her store is located in an excellent spot at the market where it is easy to find and many people always come to buy her goods every day (those extra people on the photo were costumer who come to the market looking for something to buy and not related to her that is why we blurred their faces). Running her business has made Lidia become more independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday income. She would like a loan of $1,500 through Kiva field partner KIF to help improve her store. She plans to use this loan to buy additional supply goods such as biscuits, noodles, sugar, coffee and many other things to resell at her store. Lidia hopes to expand the size of her business in the future as the result of her investment and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
