Caroline's story

Hello, Kiva community!
Caroline is 39 years old and a mom of four. She lives in a remote village in the Eldoret area of Kenya. She is a very hardworking person.

Thanks to her daily efforts, she has managed to give her lovely children a good start by providing them with a good-quality education.

Caroline’s primary source of income is dairy and crop farming.

The Eldoret area is a favorable area for farming, so she is seeking a loan to buy farm inputs such as hybrid and disease-resistant seeds and manure. This will help improve her crop production.

Being a woman and accessing funds in Kenya, especially in the Eldoret area, is very challenging, but Caroline feels relieved knowing there are institutions such as Kiva that help enterprising women like her.

Her goal is to improve her living conditions and secure the future of her children. Her biggest dream is to be able to support her family by herself.

Caroline is counting on your help and hopes for your attention.
