Abizerwa Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sugar, rice, cooking oil and beans.

Abizerwa Acb Group's story

Francoise is a 50-year-old mother of two children who are 3 and 17 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 15 years, she has owned a grocery store.

She is the leader of the group called Abizerwa Acb, which in English means “Trustworthy.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Francoise will use her loan to buy more sugar, rice, cooking oil and beans to sell in her community and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also increase her savings culture.

Francoise is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Francoise, the group representative.
