Zamuka Abanyamwete Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans and maize.

Zamuka Abanyamwete Group's story

Emmanuel is a 38-year-old father of three children aged between 4 and 11 years old. His wife is a businesswoman, and for the past four years, he has been selling foodstuffs.

He is the leader of the Zamuka Abanyamwete, which means “People with Desire” in English. The group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Emmanuel will use his loan to buy more beans and maize to sell within his community. With the profit from his sales, he will be able to set aside some savings and expand his business.

He is grateful for the support from the lenders.

Note: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
