Resaldo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy containers, tungog and a sickle.

Resaldo's story

Resaldo is a resident of Calape, Bohol. He is married and has two dependents. To earn a living, he sells coconut wine, which is known as “tuba” by locals. He has been in this business for many years.

Resaldo is requesting a 12,000 PHP loan through CEVI, a Kiva Field Partner and microfinance NGO in the Philippines, to buy containers, tungog (a tannin powder that will add color to the wine) and a new sickle (that is used to gather tuba from the coconut tree).

Resaldo wants to improve his livelihood in the future so that he can support his children’s education.
