Mesia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy pork, chicken, and vegetables.
Last year, Mesia, 58, set up her food business. She sells food on the streets and viands for lunch, especially to people who don't have time to coo. All the income that she earns from selling food helps in paying off the utility bills and in meeting the basic needs of her family. She is a mother to seven children. Her youngest is still a dependent at 16. She is asking a loan of PHP 6,000 from CEVI to buy additional ingredients for food vending such as pork, chicken, and vegetables. Like other entrepreneurs, she is thankful to MFIs like CEVI who can help businesses through small loans. Every week during meetings, she learns different things from other entrepreneurs. CEVI provides its clients not only loans, but also trainings and insurance coverage services.
