Mujeres Responsables Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase tapestries in addition to materials to make cleaning products.

Mujeres Responsables Group's story

The group named Mujeres Responsables is in their 8th loan cycle in the women's committee program where they all work and help each other to get ahead. They are in the poverty elimination program, struggling together to be able to overcome their poverty situation.

Maria Lea is the president of the committee. She has an upholstery shop and also sells cleaning products. She is a determined woman who does everything she can to be able to help her family and that they lack for nothing. She plans to have a larger retail space in the future and to establish other types of sales as well.

Maria Lea is worth mentioning since she has no problems with working and struggling and seeking the way to be able to improve herself. With this, she is able to offer her loved ones everything she was unable to have and to prevent them from experiencing hardships. She describes herself as a capable, responsible, and active woman with great desire for everything to go well.

She asks for this loan to purchase tapestries in addition to materials to make cleaning products and, with this, to be able to satisfy her customers.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
