Abunzubumwe Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more cassava, beans, and sorghum to sell.

Abunzubumwe Acb Group's story

Julienne is a 37-year-old mother of four children who are aged between 6 and 18 years old. Her husband is a construction worker and for the past 12 years she has been selling foodstuffs.

She is the leader of the group named Abunzubumwe Acb, which in English means “united people.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Julienne will use her loan to buy more cassava, beans, and sorghum to sell within her community and meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide school fees for her children and also provide for the family.

She is thankful for your support.

Note: Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
