Irene's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more gasoline to sell.

Irene's story

Irene (born in 1968) is a mom of three school-going kids. She is a mother who would do anything to give her family happiness and see her children graduate from school. She has endured the challenges she faces in life for the success of her family. She has hours of hard work and dedication in her business, where she sells gasoline.

In order to always have quality goods she applies for a loan with BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. The loan will be used to buy more gasoline to sell.

The income she makes from selling is used to meet the basic needs of her household. She has had nine years of business experience. Due to this she is not facing any problem with her business. Her dream is to become an international businesswoman. She says thanks and gives appreciation to BRAC and the Kiva community for their support.
