Retselisitsoe's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Retselisitsoe's story

Retselisitsoe is a 38-year-old man who lives in a traditional hut, without access to electricity, with 2 other family members. Retselisitsoe works as a civil servant, but struggles with buying multiple fuels. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on paraffin, which costs up to 500 LSL per month. He also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Retselisitsoe bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help him and his family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar-powered.
