Babygirl's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fresh and dried fish to sell.

Babygirl's story

Meet Babygirl, 34 years old. She is a single mother with three children who live at home while in school. Babygirl is a high school graduate. She has a business selling fresh and dried fish. She started this business in order to support her children at home. She has been selling for 10 years now and faces no problems with her business. She uses a car or a kehkeh [a commercial tricycle] to transport supplies to her business site.

Babygirl applied for a loan through BRAC Liberia, a Kiva field partner. The loan will be used to buy more fresh and dried fish to sell to her good clients. This will enable Babygirl to meet her customer’s demands and increase her net income. Babygirl likes her business because it gives her profits each day she sells. Her dreams for the future are to send her children to school and build houses. She wishes to say thanks to all lenders around the world.
