Irine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to support her to buy more packaging bags, ground nuts and cashew nuts in bulk for selling.

Irine's story

Irine is 34 years old. She is a humble single and caring mother to her two children who are 13 and 2 years old.

To provide for her family she sells groundnuts and cashew nuts for a living. She enjoys this business because it is simple to run and has high demand as it is affordable for most Kenyans and therefore brings her a good profit to provide for her family. The business also promotes local transporters whenever she orders these nuts in bulk.

Irine is grateful for all the support that lenders are providing her as her last loan enabled her to buy a sack of groundnuts which she roasted, sold and was able to repay her loan on time. Her major challenge at the moment is low stock and lack of enough packaging bags. Her loan will help her boost her business by helping her to solve her challenges. Irine dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman in the future.
