San Jorge Group's story

San Jorge is the name of this group. They are helping each other and looking for a way to be able to offer their families better living conditions so they don't go without what they need. They are participating in the Poverty Elimination program where each member strives to be able to grow and improve their quality of living.

One of them is Maria Graciela. She is married and the mother of four children. She is a very hard-working woman who looks for a way to be able to provide her family with all she could not have and that they don't go without what they need as she did.

She earns a living raising barnyard chickens that she then sells. She mentions that she has a regular clientele. Despite her daily difficulties she looks for a way to better herself and in doing so offer her family all she did not have.

She is requesting this loan to buy chicks to raise and feed for her animals and in this way she can continue to help her family.

Note: There is only one person in the photo but it is a group loan. A group photo is not possible without a gathering of people, prohibited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
