01_Sop Sen Jeker Fissel Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy chicks that she will raise and sell.

01_Sop Sen Jeker Fissel Group's story

These five women, who live in the same locality, are linked by socio-professional ties, and are cousins, friends and neighbours. Their main activities are livestock farming and trade. This is the first funding they have received from the institution.

Ndéye Awa is the president of the group; she is 30 years old, on the right in the photo with her hand raised. She is married and has no children yet, but she has her nephew to look after and he is in school. Ndéye Awa is a poultry farmer; she buys from large suppliers and works at home where she has her own henhouse. She has 3 years of good experience.

She will buy five boxes of chicks (250), six bags of poultry feed, and pay for vaccines and other accessories useful for her work. She sells her chickens after two months or more. She has a good and reliable customer base. Her profits allow her to refresh her business and manage her various expenses.
