Abangumugayo Zamuka Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, maize flour, cooking oil, and sugar.

Abangumugayo Zamuka Group's story

Daniel is a 62-year-old father of six children who are aged between 23 and 37 years old. His wife is a farmer, and for the past 20 years, he has owned a grocery store.

Daniel is the leader of the group named Abangumugayo Zamuka, which in English means “trustworthy people.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Daniel will use his loan to buy more rice, maize flour, cooking oil, and sugar to sell within his community to meet customer demand. With the profits from his sales, he hopes to be able to expand his business and also provide for the family.

Daniel is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
