A loan helped Purchase embroidery machine and embroidery material for embroidery business.
Shahnaaz lives in Kasur, which is a small city located in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Kasur is famous for its leather industry. She lives in a small home that contains two rooms in the area of Qadirabad. Shahnaaz is 44 years old and has given birth to three children. Both her son and elder daughter have left their education while her youngest daughter is studying in 5th standard. Her husband has a business of a power loom (a machine that manufactures clothes). He operates his business in a nearby market. Shahnaz supports her family by doing an embroidery and sewing business. She learned this art from her mother. She produces quality work and receives regular orders. They have three sewing machines at their home currently. Her elder daughter also helps her in her business and sometimes her friend also joins her in this business, taking guidance from Shahnaaz about sewing. She has applied for a loan from Asasah for the expansion of her embroidery business. With the help of the loan money, she will buy an embroidery machine which will be used by her daughter because presently, she makes handmade embroidery which delays completing the orders of the customers on time. She will also buy some embroidery material such as beads, colored thread and cloth to fulfill larger orders on time. She is hopeful that she will definitely earn better income after investing money in her business. She is regular loan user of Asasah and is in her fourth loan cycle. In previous loan years, she has proved herself a responsible client who never missed a single meeting.
