Tusimame Ii Group's story

Jeanette is a client of the micro-finance institution Hekima and the president of the village group called "Tusimame II." She is married, 38 years old, and a mother of four children, who are all in school. Her partner is resourceful.

Jeanette sells various goods. She started this business seven years ago with start-up funds she received from her husband. Later, she joined Hekima to support her business which continues to evolve. With this new loan, she is going to buy spare auto parts, which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business does not have problems.

Jeanette would like to see her children continue in school and to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and their partners for their support to business-owners who lack access to financial services in the context of the global COVID-19 crisis. The photo includes only the leader of the group in order to respect social distancing measures in place due to COVID-19.
