Mohamed's story

Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 45-year-old Mohamed from Moriba town branch Bo. He is married and has three children between the ages of 7 and 18 years of age, and three are currently attending school.

Mohamed runs a retail table business and sells drugs to his customers around the community. He started this business because he wanted to increase his business. His other source of income is from his wife. He has been in this business for 15 years. Mohamed says his greatest challenge is sometimes business is the country economic crisis and the cost of transportation is too high.

He requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more drug items such as paracetamol, zincovit, and antibiotics to increase his business. Mohamed says that the extra income from this loan will help him to take care of his family and to increase his business.

In the future, he would like to expand to a large scale. He says thanks to BRAC Sierra Leone and Kiva for their support.
