01_Ndiaskeur Diouma Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sheep to raise and resell.

01_Ndiaskeur Diouma Group's story

This Banc Villageois, set up in May 2016, joins together these seven good, honest, and energetic women who are united by strong ties of kinship, friendship, and solidarity. They have paid back several loans successfully. Their main work is in commerce and in farming.

Ms. Dial, aged 51, is the official at the right in the photo with a hand raised. She is the married mother of five children, including two sons. She is active in raising sheep. She buys her sheep at the weekly markets, and she raises them at home where she has a barn. She capitalizes on several years of experience in the sector.

With this new loan, she is going to purchase 4 sheep and some fodder; she will fatten them to resell after three to four months at a good profit. She has quite a talent for this work.

Her profits enable her to invest in a small-scale business selling vegetables, to save money within the Banc Villageois, to increase her herd, to help cover day-to-day expenses, and to pay her children’s school fees.
