Turwubake Cb B Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, cooking oil, maize flour and sugar to sell.

Turwubake Cb B Group's story

Vestine is a 50-year-old mother of five children who are aged between 17 and 25 years old. Her husband is a businessman. For the past three years she has owned a grocery store.

Vestine is the leader of the group named Turwubake Cb B, which in English means “Let Us Build.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Vestine will use her loan to buy more rice, cooking oil, maize flour and sugar to sell within her community to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to expand her business.

Vestine is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the group members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
