Carmen Alexandra's story

Carmen is 46 years old, divorced, and has two grown children and another one who is 13 years old. They live in the canton of Jaramijo, an enchanting place with beautiful beaches. This area has also been severely affected by the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

Carmen is an enterprising woman who strives to generate an income to cover her household expenses. Two years ago, she opened a small store in her home where she sells provisions, groceries, dairy products, meats, beverages, and other items. Thanks to her dedication, organization, and effort, her business is profitable and offers excellent service to her customers. At the start of the pandemic, her income took a slight hit due to restrictions that forced her to close early. However, her business is now progressing once again, so she is requesting a loan to restock her business.

The loan will be used to buy provisions, groceries, dairy products, meats, beverages, and other items. Her dream is to see her business continue progressing.
