Ahadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on meat in bulk, which will build on her initial capital.

Ahadi Group's story

Hemedi is a customer of the Hekima MFI and the chairperson of the "Ahadi" village group. She is married, 65 years old and mother of 12 children who are all in school; her partner is unemployed.

She is a meat seller, having started this business in 2006 with start-up funds from her husband. Later she involved the Hekima programme to support her business, during which she gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will stock up on meat in bulk, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue studying and she would like to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-bankable business owners in this global crisis related to Covid-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group because of Covid-19 in respect of social distancing measures.
