Mele's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to export their crops overseas and hire men to help her husband with the harvesting of the crops.

Mele's story

Mele is a 60 years old mother who married a farmer, and they run a farming business for the benefit of their family. They have been running this business for more than thirty years, and their family benefits from their hard work.

In their plantation, they grow diverse crops such as taro, cassava, yam, and sweet potatoes. Mele helps her husband with the plantation work, and she also spends most of her time selling their crops at the local market.

They are planning to export their crops overseas, but they do not have enough money. With this loan, Mele will hire men to help her husband harvest their crops and ship them overseas. The house they live in is an old house, and their next plan is to build a new and better home for their family.
