Naim's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped bring my coffee business to the next level by getting our first hotel customer.
My name is Naim and I’m going to tell you my story. I was born in Mexico City where I dreamt of playing soccer professionally. At the age of 13, I left my home to move into a soccer recruitment boarding school to start my dream of becoming a professional soccer player. This was my first experience confronting adversity. For the next 7 years, I was a part of several teams and eventually became a professional soccer player for 3 years. Simultaneously, I wanted to give back to my community and started various soccer clubs; this is how my passion for business began. Around this time, I met my wife in Puebla, Mexico. We soon married and moved to Wisconsin, where my wife is from. This was my first time in the U.S. Shortly after immigrating to Madison; I realized an even bigger challenge - learning a new language and culture; not to mention ending my professional soccer career. To help with the change I had the idea to import coffee from Mexico. I started to research my idea and realized that the U.S. is one of the largest coffee consumers in the world. You might ask why I picked coffee. Because in the part of Mexico where I started my soccer clubs, coffee is an extremely popular line of work. 80% of the population produces coffee. This award-winning coffee is within the top ten coffees in Puebla. Because of this idea, I created TZIN LLC. One year after immigrating here I have successfully developed relationships with Mexican producers and connected them with business in the U.S.; as well as created the brand Kafetzin Coffee. Now we are starting to import other products under TZIN LLC. Our dream for the future is to bring more products and eventually create a coffee chain.
