Marly Johana's story

Marly Johana is a 38-year-old enterprising woman, resident of the city of Barranquilla, where she owns a business of preparing and marketing frozen food (such as fried cheese-filled breadsticks and empanadas). Marly started this business on her own initiative with some savings a little over 3 years ago. She has been able to advance it and gain recognition in the area. She offers her products daily to her main customers, who are people in her area, neighbors and passersby.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, because of health issues and national government regulations, she had to suspend her business and naturally its profits and sales suffered. She is currently managing her first Kiva loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation to increase the working capital of her business and to purchase supplies, such as flour, cheese, meat, vegetables, among others. The loan will help her increase her sales and profits. Support her with a loan for her business.
