Ukweli Yetu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 10 containers of palm oil, which will increase her starting capital.

Ukweli Yetu Group's story

Mrs. Sifa is a client of Hekima IMF and presides over the groupe villageois “UKWELI YETU.” She is a 59-year-old married mother of eight, all of whom go to school. Her partner is a shopkeeper.

She sells palm oil, a business she started in 2018 with funds from her husband. Later, she included the Hekima program to support her business, which has grown progressively. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on 10 containers of palm oil, which will increase her starting capital. The challenge in her business is linked to multiple car breakdowns by the vehicle transporting the merchandise.

She would like that her children to continue their education and that she buy land and grow her business. In the end, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to unmonetizable business owners in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is of just the group leader because of COVID-19 with respect to social distancing measures.
