Emily's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a dairy cow, increase her milk supply, meet the demand for milk and make a profit.

Emily's story

Emily is a 51-year-old mother of four kids living in Siongiroi, a town whose surroundings have vast agricultural potential with numerous small farms and also vast agricultural enterprises. She is an excellent person who has been making a living by farming for a number of years. Thanks to her efforts and dedication, she always has quality milk and crop production.

Since she had children, her personal and financial obligations have skyrocketed. She has different ways of making money, but keeps coming up short. Through improving the productivity of her farm, she believes she will be able to grow financially.

Joyce is seeking a loan through Kiva to purchase a productive dairy cow that will bring her more income.

She will use the additional income to pay for her children's education and to meet family expenses. Her future plan is to keep growing her income-generating asset base.
