Pa Khoang 61 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fingerlings to raise and sell.

Pa Khoang 61 Group's story

Nhom, 30, is a young ethnic Kho-Mu woman who lives in a traditional stilt house with her husband and her two children. Her family relies mainly on agricultural production for a living.

Because of the instability of their income from agriculture, Nhom works very hard at many activities, including cultivating rice, raising chickens, pigs, fish and ducks. Recently, the chicken and pig disease has greatly affected her family's income, so in order to have enough money to cover family expenses and pay school fees for her children, Nhom decided to turn her focus to fish raising. Nhom shares that fish are easier to care for and have fewer diseases than other animals. She has taken her fourth loan from Anh Chi Em program, after successfully repaying the previous loans, to buy fingerlings.

Nhom hopes that with the support from this program along with her 3 years of experience in fish raising, the fingerlings will grow up quickly and healthy, bringing her a high profit. In the photo, she stands first on the far right.
