San Expedito Group's story

The committee named San Expedito was organized through one of it's members. They are in their 5th loan cycle with the Women's committee program. They are also participating in the Poverty Elimination survey where everyone strives to overcome their condition of poverty in order to have a better quality of living.

One of the members is Delia Soledad. She is married and has three young children. Her husband is a mechanic, she is a seamstress and dressmaker. With the support that she has received she has been able to improve and buy a professional sewing machine. In this way she is equipping her workshop little by little. She receives cuts of sheets and clothing and she also sews them to order. She comments that her dream is to one day have her own house as they live in her mother-in-law's house.

Delia Soledad is requesting this loan to buy fabric, thread, buttons, hangers, elastic and other accessories for sewing clothing.

Note: There is only one person in the photo but it is a group loan. A group photo is not possible without a gathering of people, prohibited because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
