Abakundana Acb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more meat, beans, banana plantains, sweet potatoes and Irish potatoes.

Abakundana Acb Group's story

Joselyne is a 41-year-old mother of three children between 6 and 17 years old. Her husband is a businessman, and for the past 20 years, she has owned a restaurant.

Joselyne is the leader of the group called ABAKUNDANA ACB, which in English means “People who Love each other.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Joselyne will use her loan to buy more meat, beans, banana plantains, sweet potatoes and Irish potatoes to sell within her restaurant and to meet customer demand within her community. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to expand her business and also provide for the family.

Joselyne is thankful for your support.

Note: Due to the global pandemic Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but was able to get one representative for the group photo.
