Jote's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped me to remodel the café shop and buy the required equipment, and start work.

Jote's story

I am planning to open and work in a coffee shop. I was born and grew up in Ethiopia Addis Ababa City. After I completed high school, I established a small business and opened a supermarket. I came to the USA in 2008. I'm glad to raise my 8- and 6-year-old children. I’m working at Hilton Hotel for about 13 years. I have a tremendous amount of guest hospitality and experience in hosting guests and boiling tea and coffee. In the neighborhood where I planned to open a coffee shop, there is no place for the community to drink coffee and tea except for a dining hotel; Especially in the morning, I understand these huge local needs and aims to serve breakfast. My coffee shop will be unique for its Ethiopian traditional heroic /pot/ coffee. It is a job I will start with, widely thought about and planned because it was my long-term plan and desire to do it. It is a matter of extensive preparation, and I have a great passion and motivation. I used my experience of hosting all sections of society with the utmost respect, whether color or any form and the opportunity to be found by the local community during that extended period to bring guests to the coffee shop I will open. I also would use mouth-to-mouth and social media for advertising. As a result, I have no concerns about user loss. I have made significant provisions for the community and my needs and desires. That is why I made a strong vowed to offer a coffee shop service that was my long-held dream. I intend to contribute to the future by creating employment opportunities for people and helping to engage in good charity work.
