Arcoiris Group's story

Dexsi Espinales, a 38-year-old woman, is a microentrepreneur who sells clothing, plasticware, corn and coffee. She is also the leader of the Arco Iris group. She started her own business with the intention of bringing in extra income for her family.

She has applied for another loan from Fundenuse with funds from Kiva to buy clothing, plasticware, corn and coffee. She says the the previous loan helped her business to evolve.

Dexsi Espinales’s goal is to increase her sales volume in order to improve her income.

She is part of the solidarity group Arco Iris along with María (who sells clothes and cosmetics), Rosa (who sells clothes, shoes and plastic utensils) and Martha (who sells tortillas and ground coffee).
