Habibata's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 40 quality pieces of pagnes [colorful cloth popular in West Africa], 60 simple pagnes, koko donda pagnes [soft, multi-colored or tie-dyed cotton fabric], and traditional pagnes and to set aside some money to take care of her family.

Habibata's story

Habibatga is the mother of 2 children, one of whom goes to school. She is a Tisserande and she opened a store selling traditional pagnes in a market near the capital more than 12 years ago. She is on her eighth loan cycle with IMF YIKRI and she repaid her first loan with no problem.

Habibata is applying for another loan to buy 40 quality pagnes, 60 simple pagnes, koko donda pagnes, and traditional pagnes to satisfy her customers' requests. She plans to reinvest the profits in her business and put aside some money to take care of her family. Finally, she would like to thank the Kiva lenders and she encourages everyone to protect themselves from the Covid-19 virus.
