Las Grandiosas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a griddle.

Las Grandiosas Group's story

Gloria Magdalena, age 36, lives with her two minor children, ages 14 and 16, who are her dependents.

Gloria works selling "pupusas" [stuffed tortillas] at her house. She learned the trade due to lack of job opportunities. She does it very well, and it allows her to generate income to help in household responsibilities.

But she wishes to improve her business, and so she is requesting a loan to buy a larger griddle. With this investment, she hopes to reduce waiting times, to have more product availability, and so to increase her sales. She dreams of having a prosperous and secure business. Gloria wishes to provide her children with a stable future and to give them a better quality of life.

Gloria, Victoria, Luis, and Reina form the solidarity group "Las Grandiosas". They are responsible and enterprising people, who have the same purpose: to get their families ahead.
